After graduating from The School of Visual Arts in New York, I began designing for the fashion industry. With the demands of the many changing trends and cultures I was able to develop many styles of artistic expression. I have carried that experience over to my own art and feel it has given me a freedom that is invaluable.
When I was asked to design a line of my own greeting cards it began a new area of insight and appreciation of the art of cartooning which continues to the present day. As a conceptual artist I can develop visual concepts and then decide which style and medium can best express it.
Art is my passion. Creating stimulating and thought provoking work is what I look forward to each day.
